Summer Holiday Adventure to Paultons Park!

If you are looking for a family day out in the UK, then we can defo recommend Paultons Park!

During the summer holidays, we visited Paulton's Park ,which was the most incredible experience! The rascals just had the BEST time!

Here are our top tips for visiting Paultons Park with young kids.

  • Download the Paulton's Park App; this will give you a live map, tell you what rides your little ones can go on (height) and the queuing times; you can filter rides on the lowest queue time, too, brilliant!
  • Look at the map beforehand (linked here) to figure out what areas of the park you want to visit and your route, especially with the little ones, its a big area.
  • Wear very comfortable shoes and socks.
  • Bring lots of snacks to distract the kids in queues. Our longest queue was only 20 minutes, but you still need some distractions.
  • Bring spare clothes, especially if you are visiting 'Muddy Puddles' with lots of water.
  • Show your kids what colour the Paulton's Park team is wearing and show them the Paulton's Park team member's name badge so if they get lost, they know who to go to for help.
  • Be prepared to adjust your plans based on your children's energy levels and interests on the day.
  • If the little ones get super tired, you can hire prams at the park.
  • We were so lucky to get Paulton Park vouchers for their birthdays from relatives so we could add early access to Peppa Pig World, and I'm so glad we did.

With early access, you are greeted by a member of the Paultons Park team at 9am. The rascals were given little name badges, and you are taken through to Peppa Pig world. Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig greet you as you enter, and then Peppa and George make a special appearance. There is also a lovely photo opportunity moment where the team very kindly takes a photo with your phone.

You all get to play in  Mr Potato's Playground, and at 9.30am, the rides open for you, so you get 30 minutes without any queues, which is just incredible. The team was so amazing and told us which rides to get on first as they got the most busy during the day, and the list was...

  • Windy Castle
  • Miss Rabbits Helicopter Flight
  • George's Dinosaur Adventure
  • Daddy's Pig Car Ride.

When the park opened fully, the longest we queued in Peppa Pig World was only 20 minutes, and we thought that was great.

When we eventually left Peppa Pig World, we headed to Torando Springs. The four- and six-year-olds LOVED Farmyard Flyer, a mini roller coaster. We stopped for lunch in this section. The noon lunch meant no queuing for food or a table. There are also so many picnic areas around the park.

We then headed to Critter Creek, which was perfect for the kid's ages, with loads of great rides for them.

We went on all the rides in this section, and the max queueing time was around 15 minutes, which was brilliant. We then watched a show on the show stage and headed to the Animals section.

Little legs definitely could not cover the whole park in one day, but we feel we did get great value, and they were so excited every minute!
It was such a brilliant family day out, and we highly recommend it.
