Books to help prepare children for starting Nursery or Preschool

Hello, Natasha here, recently I have spoken to so many parents who are preparing their children to start nursery or preschool so I thought it would be the perfect time to share some of the books we used to help prepare our youngest before she joined the school nursery. 

 Lulu's First Day

A beautiful book following the character Lula as she prepares to start preschool with her family's supporting here. the story and illustrations are so beautiful. Takes into considering the child emotions. 

 Ready, Steady, School!

We could only find the large version of this book but the youngest loves it! It was nearly as tall as she was when we first brought it! Pom visits all his animal friends different schools and joins in their adventures while learning all about their school days. The illustrations are adorable!

All the Words You Need to Know Before You Start School

This book was a interactive way for us to support the youngest to improve her language skills before starting school. Each page has different themes filled with illustrations and words for the classroom, shapes, number, weather and animals.

One of my favourite books to read with both of the children. Kindness and love a plenty in this book, the story follows a character who loves to make friends.
