Autumn Activities for Kids

As the leaves begin to change colour and the air turns crisp, autumn invites us to explore its vibrant beauty.

Autumn offers endless opportunities for kids, adventure, learning, and creativity. Whether it’s jumping into piles of leaves, crafting with nature’s treasures, or indulging in cosy seasonal treats.

In this post, we’ve gathered a variety of autumn activities for kids that are not only fun but also encourage exploration, imagination, and a love for nature.

So, grab your best Sunshine Follows You outfit and lets get exploring!

  1. Conker noughts and crosses!

Collect 12 conkers and draw an equal number with noughts and crosses, leaving them to dry. Then grab your chalk, draw the board and get playing!

Kids love this activity; best of all, you can plant the conkers when you are finished playing with them.

You can check out our video for this activity here.

2. Autumn Pumpkin Pie

My two little helpers love getting involved in making sweet treats, and this pumpkin pie recipe is both easy and delicious. This cosy, homemade dessert doesn’t require hours of prep, and the best part? It sneaks some pumpkin into their diet without them even noticing! 🎃🎃

You can find the recipe here.
